Dr. Janis Kupersmidt, Senior Research Scientist, will be conducting a 2-day, in-person workshop in Berlin, Germany, on June 25 and 26, 2018, for the Netzwerk Berliner Kinderpatenschaften e.V. The purpose of the network is to provide training on how mentoring programs can assess and improve their youth mentoring program quality. Participants will learn about the program practice standards for the field of youth mentoring published in the Elements of Effective Practice for Mentoring (EEPM); how to assess their program’s alignment with the benchmark program practices using the web-based mentoring program self-assessment software system, the Elements Quality Improvement Process (EQUIP); and prioritizing and implementing quality improvement strategies that are customized for their program’s needs and resources.
