Sarah Soson
Research Assistant

OVERVIEW
Sarah Soson is a Research Assistant and Karen M. Gil Intern at iRT. She is studying psychology and political science at UNC Chapel Hill, and she is passionate about understanding the intersection between individual behavior and societal structures, with a particular emphasis on social psychology. In addition to her coursework, she is an undergraduate research assistant in UNC’s Social and Decision Science Lab where she is actively researching the effects of autonomy and restriction on motivation. She has also conducted independent research as a Zietlow Civic Engagement Fellow and interned with the U.S. Department of State, U.S. House of Representatives, and the Ronald Reagan Presidential Foundation. Following graduation, she plans to attend law school and pursue a career at the intersection of law and psychology.
