(Durham, NC, June 22, 2015)— Behavior science research organization innovation Research & Training (iRT) has relocated its Durham operation to bigger premises as part of an exciting period of expansion and development.<\/p>\n

iRT has outgrown its current offices in Hamilton Centre office complex and has signed a 5-year lease for a larger office that is more than 6,500-square feet in the nearby Highgate Centre, on NC Highway 54, less than a mile from I-40’s Fayetteville Road interchange, convenient to The Streets at Southpoint mall.<\/p>\n

The expansion to a larger office will allow the company to take on new employees, and allow iRT to grow its team of experts and support staff in customer support as well as in basic and applied research. The organization conducts qualitative and quantitative research in a variety of areas, including substance abuse prevention and treatment, youth mentoring, social and emotional assessment and intervention, mindfulness education, media literacy education, and drugged driving. The move will also allow the company to expand into other sectors.<\/p>\n

Dr. Janis Kupersmidt, founder and president, said, “We have experienced phenomenal growth in the last year or so. Relocating the iRT team to a larger office is essential as we continue to grow and develop our workforce and our portfolio of sectors. <\/p>\n

“Our new office space will provide us with a long-term base to continue to expand our team and our business. This additional space allows us to increase the number of employees on the team, host training workshops and meetings with partner organizations, accommodate significant growth across our sectors, and gives us the flexibility to introduce new specializations to our portfolio.”<\/p>\n
