style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Dr. Kupersmidt founded iRT in 1999 to develop empirically validated assessment tools, and prevention and treatment programs to empower youth, as well as their families and communities, with asset-building, evidence-based tools to improve their health and well-being. At iRT, Dr. Kupersmidt leads a multi-disciplinary team that receives grants and contracts from federal and state government sponsors, and private foundations, nonprofit organizations, and other companies to conduct basic and applied research, provide training and technical assistance, and conduct evaluation services. She is very committed to enhancing the blending of research-and-practice activities through partnering and working closely with other experts, constituents, communities, and organizations. Dr. Kupersmidt received her Ph.D. from Duke University in 1985 with specialization in child clinical psychology. She completed her clinical internship at Yale University in 1984 and received her Bachelor\u2019s degree in Psychology in 1978 from Douglass College of Rutgers University.
